Building - Coverage is for structure described in the declarations, including building, permanently installed fixtures, machinery and equipment; outdoor personal property to service the premises including fire extinguishers, outdoor equipment.


Business Personal Property - Covers personal property inside the building that is not permanently attached. It does cover furniture and fixtures, machinery equipment, inventory. Personal property extends to 100 feet of the premises.

A Condominium or Unit-Owners Policy is similar to a Homeowners Policy. It’s a package policy including coverage for your condo, its contents and loss of use. The policy has liability coverage for unintentional acts that cause bodily injury. With a condo, you don’t own and insure the exterior, so your cost may be less. Your master deed usually contains an insurance requirements section, sometimes found in the condominium association bylaws.

It Does Not cover structures that are used for business purposes or are rented or held for rental to anyone who is not a tenant of the main dwelling.

Covers personal property wherever, it is located, that is owned or used by the named insured, the named insured relatives, and any other person under 21 who resides in the named insured’s household.

Part D - Loss of Use

Covers increases over normal living costs if damages from a covered peril makes the residence unfit to occupy.
